Group 1: VV ECMO Patients with available hemodynamic montoring via Swan-Ganz catheter and PiCCO.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Patients with VV ECMO support for ARDS and established Swan-Ganz catheter and PiCCO monitoring

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. pregnancy 2. increased intracranial pressure 3. known, but untreated intracardial shunt (ASD/VSD) 4. contraindications agains transesophageal echocardiography
