Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Persons insured with the AOK Baden-Württemberg (regional health insurance fund), incident diagnosis of polymyalgia rheumatica between 2011 and 2020, age =40 years

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Age <40 years; persons, who were not continously insured with the AOK Baden-Württemberg in the two years prior to the incident polymyalgia rheumatica diagnosis.
