Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: The following inclusion criteria were set: Neurotraining by Verena Schweizer in combination with occupation-based intervention represents the treatment method of choice, independent of study participation (standard intervention) / First ischaemic or haemorrhagic stroke and associated first rehabilitation / >18 years / Difficulty in performing basal or instrumental ADL (self-reported). / Self-reported cognitive deficits AND deficits in two or more tasks from the three task domains of the MoCA (memory, visuospatial/executive and attention).
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: The following exclusion criteria apply: Neurodegenerative diseases as secondary diagnosis / Severe upper limb paresis: Chedoke-McMaster score "hand" <6 pts, "arm" <4 pts (Gowland et al. 1993). / < 18 years or existing guardianship / Disorientation to place, person, situation, time (month, year) / Limited language comprehension at the oral level (pathologically acquired or insufficient knowledge of German) / Severely impaired elementary visual functions (visual acuity, contrast vision, motion vision, eye movements, hemianopsia, double vision) / Apraxias / Severely impaired or uncorrected hearing / Severe visual neglect without awareness

|---|---|
| The primary objective of this project is to test the feasibility of one of the standard therapies in the rehabilitation centre "Reha Rheinfelden" for stroke patients with cognitive deficits: "Neurotraining by Verena Schweizer in combination with occupation-based intervention". The following criteria are central to this feasibility study: Recruitment potential, duration and effort for a number of 10 study participants / Suitability of the inclusion and exclusion criteria of the participants / Practicability of the chosen assessments (MoCA and AMPS) / Practicability of the intervention in the clinical rehabilitation setting / Optimal ratio (frequency) of neurotraining and occupation-based intervention. / Acceptance of the therapy from the patients' perspective (questionnaire according to own design but based on the short scale of intrinsic motivation according to Wilde, Bätz, Kovaleva 2009) / Possible determination of the number of cases for a larger study | — |
