Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: The sample for the study consists of two sub-samples: - Approximately 15 patients with depressive symptoms (BDI-II value > 14) aged 18 to 70 who are in the regions of Düsseldorf and Ostwestfalen-Lippe in inpatient clinical psychiatric or psychosomatic treatment as well as in outpatient psychotherapy - Approx. 15 licensed psychotherapists for adults, psychotherapists in training or physicians with appropriate medical psychotherapeutic training with behavioral or depth psychological orientation in the regions of Düsseldorf and Ostwestfalen-Lippe
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: The following characteristics lead to an exclusion from participation in the survey: - COVID-19 disease in the infectious phase or symptoms that indicate COVID-19 disease - insufficient knowledge of the German language - lack of legal capacity - severe mental illnesses (substance addiction, dementia, psychosis)

| The aim of the study is to explore the requirements of different user groups for a VR therapy application for the treatment of depression in psychotherapy. Qualitative survey The following variables should be recorded in detail using the method of a semi-structured interview: - General conditions in the current outpatient or inpatient psychotherapy - General settings for digital and virtual health offers - Experience with digital and virtual health offers - Evaluation of the quality of data protection for digital and virtual health offers - Changes in the importance and individual use of digital and virtual health services due to the Covid-19 pandemic - Requirements for a VR therapy application (therapy modules, technical modalities, end device) - Evaluation of the use of VR in the treatment of depression | — |

| It will also be investigated to what extent certain characteristics such as therapy school, level of education, age, work setting and therapy satisfaction are related to the requirements and attitudes regarding VR applications recorded by the interview.
