Interventions

Group 1: Obese and postbariatric patients are interviewed once via telephone (cross-sectional survey).

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Obesity (BMI >= 30 kg/m2) or history of bariatric surgery - Intake of at least one drug as long-term medication at the time of data collection - Written consent to participate in the study - Sufficient knowledge of the german language to participate in the survey

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Rejection of participation by the patient - Rejection of participation by the treating physician of the study centre - No fulfillment of the inclusion criteria

Primary

- Number of patients who altered their medication intake due to experiencing weight gain (retrospective) - Number of patients who do not follow their current agreed drug regimen due to expierences or concerns regarding weight gain	—

Secondary

- Type and number of drugs or drug classes that led to weight gain (patient reported) - Type and number of drugs in the patient's long term medication from which the patients fear weight gain or hampered weight loss - Patient reported burden caused by experiencing or fearing drug-induced weight gain - Type of actions taken by the patient and/or the physician against drug-induced weight gain - Type and number of drugs or drug classes in the patient's long-term medication that patients associate with potential weight gain - Type and number of drugs in the patients' medication list which are characterized as "obesogenic drugs" according to scientific literature - Patient reported tolerability of (hypothetic) drug-induced weight gain	—
