Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients 18 years and older. Patients who are being treated with a direct oral anticoagulant (DOAC) due to a pre-existing condition and are undergoing a surgical procedure under inpatient conditions at the Department of Maxillofacial Surgery. Inclusion of all consecutive patients starting in 2012.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Other solitary congenital or acquired coagulation disorders such as von Willebrandt-Jürgens syndrome, liver cirrhosis. Therapy with platelet aggregation inhibitors alone.
