Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: healthy endurance athletes with an age of 18-60 years

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Hormone substitution; incl. thyroid Hormone therapy Smokers One-sided diet (e.g. vegan) People in need of treatment Cardiac arrhythmia Heart failure (EF<55) Performance-limiting pAVK (Fontaine stage = II) Performance- or training-limiting degenerative joint diseases or muscular diseases Performance-limiting kidney disease Performance-limiting neurological disease oncological diseases in the history (< 5 years) Psychiatric and/or addictive disorders

9ml venous blood sampling at the time points: T0 (start of examination day), T1 (immediately after physical exercise), T2 (+40 min after beverage consumption), T3 (+80 min after beverage consumption), T4 (+120 min after beverage consumption), T5 (+180 min after beverage consumption), T6 (24h after beverage consumption). The following parameters should be examined: Intestinal fatty acid-binding proteins (I-FABP), zonulin, lipopolysaccharide binding protein (LBP), bacterial endotoxin, determination of toll-like receptors in isolated peripheral mononuclear cells (PBMC), interleukin 6 and 10 (IL 6, IL 10), macrophage migration inhibitory factor (MIF), oxidative stress; creatine kinase (CK) and myoglobin; lactate (measurement at T1).
