Group 1: The blood pressure profile of the TAA or TAD patients will be examined at one-time point under 6 different physical exercise conditions. The patients will complete a questionnaire about anxie

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: age: 18-65 years; exposed group: patients with a thoracic aortic aneurysm (TAA) or dissection (TAD); control group: healthy staff of the clinic

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: no consent to participation; pacemaker; load-limiting neurologic, orthopaedic or muscular comorbidity; obesity (BMI > 39 kg/m^2); postcardiotomy syndrome; unstable angina pectoris; renal insufficiency (GFR < 30 ml/min/1,73m^2); severe liver diseases; NYHA classification III/IV or left ventricular ejection fraction < 20%; lung disease with reduced oxygen consumption (SpO2 < 90%); language or understanding barriers (e.g. dementia); diagnosed addiction (e.g. alcohol abuse)
