Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
• How many people can have their blood pressure measured in the participating study pharmacies in a period of max. 8 weeks? • How many people without known hypertension are referred to the hypertension outpatient clinic because of elevated blood pressure values? • How many of them take up the examination offer (make an appointment)? • How many participants are diagnosed with hypertension (or another disease)?

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
• Are the thresholds for referral to the hypertension outpatient clinic set correctly in terms of detection of hypertension? • How many people with undetected hypertension can be identified with this concept? • Can patient characteristics be identified that will allow future blood pressure screening in pharmacies to be more tailored to people with risk factors?
