Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with endocarditis (which according to modified Duke criteria are considered certain or possible) Patients with LVAD infection (according to criteria of the International Society of Heart&Lung transplant, ISHLT) Patients with vascular prosthesis or stent infections (according to so-called MAGIC criteria)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: no informed consent, age < 18 years.

Design outcomes

Primary

Measure	Time frame
In-hospital mortality. This parameter will be gathered from the patient's chart or from a telephone follow-up after 90 and 365 days.	—

Secondary

Measure	Time frame
1-year-mortality, recurrence-free survival, time to readmission, antibiotics-free interval. These parameters will be gathered from the patient's chart or from a telephone follow-up after 90 and 365 days.	—
