Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: • Consent to participate at the D-MCT • Consent to participate in the study (informed consent) • Sufficient understanding of the German language • Suitable for group therapy

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: • Moodincongruent psychotic symptoms (present or lifetime) • Mania (present or lifetime) • Diabilities in intelligence (IQ < 70)

Beck Depression Inventory-II (BDI-II): Self-rating questionnaire to assess depressive symptoms (T0,T1,T2).

Pre- and post-session questionnaire: Before and after each session of the D-MCT and relaxation training patients receive a pre- and post-session questionnaire (revised version that was used in Miegel et al. [submitted]). The questionnaires assess depressive symptoms and cognitive biases that correspond to the content of the D-MCT modules. Hamilton Depression Rating Scale (HDRS): Clinical interview used to assess depressive symptoms (T0,T1). Obsessive Compulsive Inventory- Revised (OCI-R): The OCI-R is a self-rating questionnaire that assesses OCD symptom severity during the last month (T0, T1, T2) Expert rating pre- and post-session questionnaire: After each session at the D-MCT the therapists assess the change in the cognitive bias corresponding to the related module in an external rating (1 item, in-session). Global Assessment of Functioning (GAF): The questionnaire measures patients´ lowest level of psychosocial functioning and is separates into social functioning and psychosocial symptoms (T0, T1, T2). Quality of Life – Global Item (WHO-QOL-BREF): A global item of the self-rating questionnaire that assesses quality of life will be used (T0, T1, T2). Generalized Anxiety Disorder 7 Scale (GAD-7): This questionnaire is a self-report measure for the assessment of anxiety symptoms (T0, T1, T2). Panic and agoraphobia scale (PAS): The PAS is a measure of the severity of illness in patients with panic disorder (T0,T1,T2). Social Phobia Inventar (SPIN): The SPIN is a self-report questionnaire assessing symptoms of social anxiety (T0,T1,T2). Maladaptive and Adaptive Coping Styles Questionnaire Revised (MAX-R). The revised questionnaire is based on 41 items and measures coping styles (T0, T1, T2). Fragebogen zu Akzeptanz und Handeln (FAH-II): The questionnaire assesses psychological flexibility (T0, T1, T2).
