Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ASD diagnosis based on DSM-5, age 7-13 years, right hand dominance, and corrected-to or normal vision.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Handicap limiting the performance of the exercise bout, intake of anticonvulsant, barbiturate and/ or psychotropic medication within 24 hours before testing.

MeasureTime frame
pre- to posttest changes in: amplitude/ latency of P100 and N170 components of event-related potentials recorded with electroencephalography

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
are pre- to posttest changes in: reaction time and error rates on social cognition tasks (Face Recognition Task und Affective Go/NoGo Task); salivary cortisol; gaze fixation (eyetracking)
