Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Age: 18 to 40 years - Male or female - Presence of a written declaration of consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - No knowledge of German at native language level, spoken and written - Rhinitis - Persistent tinnitus or degree 2 and higher - Claustrophobia - BMI =30 - Alcohol and/or drug dependence - Above-average caffeine consumption (i.e., >5 cups of coffee/black tea per day) - Smoker - Pregnancy (medical history) - Any medication affecting the study parameters - any other condition which, in the opinion of the physicians performing the test, would make the subject unsuitable (e.g. the ability to enter the pressure chamber independently).

MeasureTime frame
The aim of the study on pressure comfort during tunnel travel is to investigate the effect of pressure changes during tunnel travel on the comfort rating. To determine the comfort rating of a tunnel passage, comfort ratings are first queried at randomized intervals during the tunnel passage using a 7-step response scale. The comfort rating of the tunnel is aggregated from the individual ratings.
