Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Type 2 diabetes mellitus - In-patient in the period February 2016 or February 2018 in the Department of Orthopedics, Trauma and Reconstructive Surgery, ward 1 or 2

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: age < 18 years

MeasureTime frame
Percentage of preprandial blood glucose values per cohort lying in the range of 5.6 - 6.9 mmol / l. Data is collected retrospectively with digital patient files.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
- mean preprandial blood glucose values per day - maximum blood glucose values per day - Cumulative units of insulin administered per day - administered units of insulin per kg body weight per day - estimated kcal intake based on meal plans Data is collected retrospectively with digital patient files and with support of patient service (for meal determination).
