Group 1: SP1:
a) Individual sample (N=5600 DAK-G insured persons in need of home care will be contacted
expected response rate approximately 20%, N=1100).
b) Stakeholders in the care process will be interviewed qualitatively in focus group discussions and in individual interviews (N=55).

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: SP1: a) Members of the DAK-G statutory health insurance, =60 years on December 31st, 2021, in need of care according to the German Social Code Book XI since December 31st, 2020, living in Hamburg and surrounding areas, cared for at home and able to consent. b) Stakeholders from oral health care (family caregivers, GPs, dentists, nurses, and dental assistants). SP2: Study group: Data of insured persons of DAK-G health insurance company with incident ambulatory need of home care, =60 years and regular utilization of oral health care. Control group: Data of insured persons of DAK-G health insurance company with no need of home care, =60 years and regular utilization of oral health care. The data of the health-insured persons are obtained within the legal retention period (maximum six consecutive insured years). SP3: Members of the DAK-G statutory health insurance, =60 years on December 31st, 2021, in need of care according to the German Social Code Book XI since December 31st, 2020, living in Hamburg and surrounding areas, cared for at home, able to consent and at least able to be transported in a seated position (necessary for the application of the orthopantomogram). SP4: Experts from the associations (Bundesverband privater Anbieter sozialer Dienste, Landesverband Hamburg, Hamburgische Pflegegesellschaft, Hausärzteverband Hamburg, der Selbstverwaltung (Kassenzahnärztliche Vereinigung Hamburg, Kassenärztliche Vereinigung Hamburg), DAK-G und der Patient:innen-Organisationen (Patienteninitiative, Stiftung Patientenschutz) sowie der politisch-administrativ Verantwortlichen Ebene (Hamburger Behörde für Arbeit, Gesundheit, Soziales, Familie und Integration (Bereich: Gesundheit)).
