Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Epileptic or psychogenic seizures, at least one night's stay in the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit.

Is automated detection of epileptic seizures in inpatient and outpatient settings possible by combining sensors for uniform detection of the parameters heart rate variability (RR intervals) and movement?

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Are there recurring patterns of epileptic seizures that can be detected with the help of an algorithm? What are important influencing factors or interfering factors in the measurement of the above parameters? How does the possible detection rate of seizures of the monitoring device described here relate to the detection rate of EEG and ECG devices?
