Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Moderate or severe depressive episode as treatment diagnosis; the mental and physical ability to walk outside for 50 minutes; sufficient knowledge of the German language

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Feasibility for a large-scale study regarding the topic of psychotherapy while walking in nature: the relevant values include the number of participants who pass the full study program and thus include screening, enrollment, and dropout rates. The expected end of the study will be 2024.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Physical and mental state via the collection of demographic and psychometric data (questionnaires, measures, qualitative interviews, as well as routine checks carried out by medical personnel as part of the patients’ admission procedure at the hospital).
