Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Primary Osteoarthritis of the hip, planned short stem, Consent to participate in the study has been given

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: secondary osteoarthritis of the hip, tumor, fracture, consent to the study is not available, age less than 18 years

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
With the Fitmore stem, measurable sintering occurs more frequently in the clinical course than with the "Optimys" stem. Clinical measurement of leg length on a standing patient before discharge, after 3, 12 and 24 months.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
With the Fitmore stem, so-called "overstuffing" occurs more often, in which the original shaft does not sink into the bone as deep as the shaft rasp. Intraoperative measurement of the leg length with the shaft rasp and with the original shaft.
