Group 1: Intervention / one-armed: Patients with cochlear implant perform hearing tests and complete questionnaires. Your effort in hearing is recorded by pupillometry.

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: unilateral CI type Cochlear Nucleus 6 or 7 contralateral hearing aid sufficient knowledge of German
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: cognitive impairment neurological psychiatric diseases eye or lens diseases diabetes mellitus

| Primary outcome is the potential reduction of listening effort by dual streaming. Listening effort assessed by pupil dilation is expected to be significantly lower with bimodal dual streaming as opposed to acoustically delivered telephone speech. | — |
