Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: present declaration of consent for the follow-up survey; male/female/diverse; users from 10 years and above who used the counseling service of krisenchat, have received a recommendation for further referral to the care system by the counselors in the chat. Sufficient vision and reading ability.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: No sufficient knowledge of German, no internet access.

MeasureTime frame
Interventional study: current help-seeking behavior and implementation of received referral into the health care system 4 weeks after the chat consultation. Non-interventional study: Retrospective analysis of anonymous user data and chat meta-data based on all chat sessions from May 2020 to July 2021 (N = 7000). Extension of the Retrospective Analysis to the Period from January 2023 to December 2023 (N = 29,387) in the Context of Suspected Child Welfare Endangerment and gender-specific subgroup analysis.
