Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Outpatient or inpatient treatment at a clinic participating in the study. - The clinical picture is consistent with the diagnosis of SHP AND the diagnosis has been confirmed by direct (DIF) and / or indirect immunofluorescence microscopy (IIF). OR - The clinical picture is consistent with the diagnosis of SHP, the diagnosis was not confirmable by DIF or IIF, but none of the other possible causative underlying diseases / co-morbidities listed below are present: - Graft versus Host disease (GVHD) - Trauma / chemical burns / surgery / irradiation - Stevens-Johnson syndrome (SJS) - Trachoma - Membranous / pseudomembranous / ligneous conjunctivitis - Conjunctival neoplasms/malignancies - Sarcoidosis

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - The clinical picture is consistent with the diagnosis of SHP, but the diagnosis cannot be confirmed by DIF or IIF and/or one of the other possible underlying diseases/co-morbidities listed below is present: - Graft versus Host disease (GVHD) - Trauma / chemical burns / surgery / irradiation - Stevens-Johnson syndrome (SJS) - Trachoma - Membranous / pseudomembranous / ligneous conjunctivitis - Conjunctival neoplasms/malignancies - Sarcoidosis

MeasureTime frame
Demographic data, possible risk factors, diagnosis, comorbidities, lesion type and localisation, ophthalmological findings, visual acuity in the course of the disease, disease activity and information on the diagnostics and therapy performed at the first and last presentation are collected.
