Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criterion is the clinical diagnosis of one of the following disorders according to ICD-10: - depressive episodes (F32.0, F32.1, F32.8, F32.9) - Anxiety disorders (F40.0 (F40.00, F40.01), F40.1, F40.8, F41.0, F41.1, F41.2) - childhood emotional disorders (F93.0, F93.2) Adjustment disorder (F43.2) Another inclusion criterion is a clinically relevant score on the Internal scale (i.e. T value = 60) of the self-report (YSR, Achenbach & Rescorla 2001). In addition, the family should have sufficient German language skills.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria are the diagnosis of a pervasive developmental disorder (ICD-10: F84), specific phobia (ICD-10: F40.2) or any other mental health disorder that is predominant, an IQ below 80 (CFT 20-R, Weiß, 2006) and critical escalations that suggest inpatient treatment. Participants cannot receive further psychotherapy at the same time. Furthermore, the indication for a new start of pharmacotherapy or for a change in the dosage of an existing pharmacotherapy at the time of the intervention should be excluded.
