Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Mothers: - Mental disorder according to ICD-10 - Indication for mother-child treatment according to OPS 9-643 (determined by the ward physician/psychologist) - Birth of a child no longer than 24 months ago - Sufficient German language skills - Written informed consent (DvH, ICH-GCP), including consent to audio recording of scientific interviews and video recording of mother-child interactions. Fathers: - Birth of a child no more than 24 months ago. - Admission of the partner with the common child for inpatient mother-child treatment - Sufficient German language skills - Written informed consent (DvH, ICH-GCP), including consent to audio recording of scientific interviews and video recording of mother-child interactions. Children: Inclusion criteria: - Joint admission with mother for inpatient mother-child treatment. - Not older than 24 months - No acute stress or illness at the time of videodiagnostic recording
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Mothers: - Organic brain disease or relevant severe somatic disease affecting cerebral function. - Previous or current indication for primary addiction treatment for alcohol or illicit drug disorders. - Inability to understand the content and significance of the study and to give informed consent in writing. - Massively increased aggressiveness or current behavior dangerous to others at the time of inclusion. - Acute self-harm/suicidality at inclusion. Fathers: - Inability to understand content and significance of study and give informed consent in writing. - Massively increased aggressiveness or current behavior dangerous to others at inclusion. - Acute self-harm/suicidality at inclusion. Children: - Lack of consent from parents/legal guardians.
