Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Gender: w, m, d; Age: 18 years and older; Residence: Germany; Sufficient, premorbid language level in German (business fluent); Diagnosis: aphasia and/or apraxia of speech after brain injury (determined by physician/therapist); Aphasia diagnosed by BIAS-R is present; Post-onset time: 4 weeks or more; Has never used "neolexon aphasia" in selftraining; Has access to a computer/tablet and Internet; Receives (regular) standard speech and language therapy

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Severe visual impairments such that images and text cannot be interpreted on a screen; severe motor restrictions that prevent the use of a tablet / computer; severe hearing impairments that impair ability to perceive auditory stimuli/instructions; severe cognitive impairments, which prevent the use of a tablet / computer; has used "neolexon Aphasia" in the past or is currently using "neolexon Aphasia" for digital home exercises

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Bielefelder Aphasie Screening Reha (BIAS-R total score) conducted by the therapist 90 days post intervention

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Assessment of communication skills in the BIAS-R; Communicative Effectiveness Index (CETI total score); General Health Questionnaire 12 (GHQ-12 total score); EQ-5D-5L (index score as well as VAS score).
