Group 1: Intervention group: Square-Stepping Exercise 3 times per week, conventional physiotherapy 2 times per week
Group 2: Active control group: 5 times per week conventional physiotherapy

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: - Ability to walk short distances (10m) in company without walking aid - Capacity to consent exists (MMSE > 22 pts) - Sufficient cognitive skills to implement the training programme - Participation in inpatient geriatric acute rehabilitation - Sufficient knowledge of German or English
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: - Aphasia to an extent that participation in the study is not possible - Severe visual limitations - High grade presbycusis - Severe impairment of physical functionality and limitations of functions of the arms and legs with the inability to walk
