Interventions

Group 1: Patients who receive a PET / CT examination (clinical indication). They are asked to fill out questionnaires about their subjective experience of the examination process.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Performing a PET / CT based on a clinical indication, - Age =18 years, - Written consent from the patient.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Insufficient language skills (German) - Limited ability to give consent.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Recording of the subjective perceptions of patients regarding the PET / CT examination experience by means of visual analog scales. In this regard determination of differences between two types of PET / CT devices (Biograph mCT and Biograph Vision Quadra, Siemens Healthcare, Erlangen).

MeasureTime frame
- Determination of influencing factors on the patient evaluations for the PET / CT examination, - Evaluation of the VAS method to determine patient comfort, - Optimization of the overall PET / CT workflow, - Optimization of the PET / CT examination protocols, - Improvement of the patient comfort with regard to the PET / CT examination, - Improvement of patient compliance with regard to the PET / CT examination, - Quality control.
