MeasureTime frame
Reduction of periodontologically significant bacteria in the pockets (detection by qPCR for various lead bacteria and additional culture for P. gingivalis), clinical attachment level

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Reduction of periodontologically significant bacteria in the blood, reduction of the acute phase reaction (esp. immunological parameters such as CRP, IL-6, TNF-a), periodontal recessions, probing depths, bleeding on probing (BOP), pain sensation during treatment, body temperature after treatment
