Group 1: The patients must answer one to two questionnaire every week, that evaluates their Symptoms. Group 2: The data from the use of social Apps and from the GPS of the smartphone will be gathered

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Any adult persons (age above 18) with a diagnosis of either schizophrenia or depression who have an Android-based smartphone, do not have a caregiver (are allowed to give own consent) and are willing to participate can be included in the study. No specific exclusion criteria apply.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The estimated recruitment period for 200 volunteer patients to be enrolled in the study is about 4 years. The assessment period per subject is 3 months.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
The study can be conclusive after the successful recruitment of 100 patients.
