Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients who have undergone a modified Le Fort I interpositional grafting. Atrophied maxilla - Cawood class iV and V.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria were pregnancy, poor general health conditions (patients undergoing chemotherapy or radiotherapy for head and neck malignancies, severely immunocompromised patients and diabetic patients with poor glycemic control) and patients treated with amino-bisphosphonates.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Analysis of the panoramic radiographs and lateral cephalometric images to assess the gain and stability of the maxillary bone height and the peri-implant bone loss.

MeasureTime frame
Survival time analysis according to Kaplan Meier for the assessment of implant survival Buser's criteria for assessing implant success
