Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: -Presentation in the ZNA North of the University Hospital Essen after having experienced a temporary loss of consciousness and -age of majority (=18 years) -ability to give consent (patient is able to understand the nature, significance, and scope of the medical data collection measure)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: -Minors (< 18 years) -Non-consenting adults (e.g., acutely intoxicated, legal guardian not present). -known epilepsy -Direct association of the event with previous trauma
