Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients over the age of 18 who are capable of giving consent and who are being treated by us, on an outpatient basis or by a participating urologist for electively planned flexible or rigid URS stone extraction for CT-secured urolithiasis, for whom postoperative DJ stenting (< 4 weeks) is medically necessary. Negative preoperative urine culture.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: under 18, treating urologist does not want to participate in the study, urinary tract infection (poss. preoperative urine culture), patients with stent insertion in the last 12 months before presenting in preparation for planned URS, longer planned DJ insertion >4 weeks.
