Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Consent, surgery with bowel resection, presence of bowel dysfunction, exclusion of colorectal carcinoma, age > 18 years.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Age < 18 years, lack of informed consent, no bowel resection planned, underlying malignancy, lack of functional bowel dysfunction
