Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Patients with oncological disease and in current treatment at the UKD and their partners - Age of subjects: 18-75 (recorded by the modified version of the Psychooncological Basic Documentation [Po-Bado]) - Marital status (stable partnership - self-assessment of the test person by the modified version of the Psychooncological Basic Documentation [Po-Bado]) - Business and consent capacity (legal term) - ECOG status 0-2 of both subjects ( 0-relative well-being, 1-minor limitation of well-being, 2-incapacity for normal work) (captured by the modified version of the Psychooncological Basic Documentation [Po-Bado]) - Psychological distress of partner (Captured by the HADS-D sum score; cut-off value = 15)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Severity of the patient's oncological disease (late palliative or terminal phase of the disease) - Severe mental, neurological, or degenerative disorders of the patient's relative (Organic, including symptomatic mental disorders; mental and Behavioral disorders caused by psychotropic substances; Schizophrenia, schizotypal and Delusional disorders due to psychotropic substances; Major depressive episodes). (recorded by the SKID I) - insufficient knowledge of the German language

MeasureTime frame
HADS-D (Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale; Herrmann-Lingen, Buss & Snaith, 1995/2011) as a measure of anxiety and depression (general distress). The inventory is completed at T0 (befor intervention) and at T1 (after intervention) and T2 (4 month) by the relative.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
DCI (Dyadic Coping Inventury; Bodenmann, 2011) as a measure of dyadic coping und communication under stressful conditions. The inventory is processed at T0 (before intervention), T1 (after intervention) and T2 (4 month) by the patient and his relative.
