Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Qualitative and quantitative comparison of PET data sets from a brain PET scanner (CareMiBrain) with diagnostic PET data sets from PET/MRT (Biograph mMR). The aim is to show the "non-inferiority" of the dedicated brain PET imaging to the clinical standard (PET in the context of PET/MR imaging).

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Evaluation improvement of the attenuation correction algorithms, optimization of the PET acquisition parameters (reduction of acquisition times), possibility of dose reduction based on simulation calculations, workflow optimization, evaluation of the potential time savings through the use of the PET-only scanner, evaluation of patient comfort.
