Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
At 2, 4, 6, 8 and 12 weeks impressions with irreversible hydrocolloide will be taken and the stone casts digitized. The horizontal and vertical changes will be compared between augmented and non-augmented sites using Meshlab and calculated with the Haussdorff distance algorithm. The two-factorial nonparametric analysis is used to deetermine the influence of independent factor (augmentation) on the dimensional changes as well as the interaction effect for the variables time and augmentation.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
histomorphometric and immunohistochemical analysis of a bone biopsy
