18 Years to 60 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: acute syndesmosis injury age 18 to 60 years, sports activity non-elite athletes

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Inclusion criteria not met - Chronic instability - Previous surgery OSG also on the opposite side - Chronic pain not due to the ankle joint to be operated on, BMI > 35 (obesity grade I) - No sporting activity
