Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Individuals, with or without a history of falls within the past 12 months - Persons =18 years

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Acute medical conditions that would require special medical supervision during the experiments. - Reduced exercise capacity that does not allow independent walking for 10 minutes at a time. - Advanced disease with a life expectancy of < 6 months.

Test persons of all ages: All parameters are collected on one test date. - Subject characteristics (age, year of birth, gender, height, body weight, shoe size, falls, level of care, medical diagnoses, visual impairments, hearing aids, walking experience, joint replacements, gait aids, vertigo, balance disorders, medications, competitive sports, smartphone use, dominant leg). Functional performance - Items from the MiniBESTest: - Sensory Orientation - Transitions - Anticipatory postural adjustment. - TUG Fall Anxiety: - Falls Efficacy Scale (short form) Activity: - IPAQ (short form) Walking distances: - 6m walking distance on normal floor (4 runs, 2 runs with head movement). - 6m walking distance on uneven floor slabs + stair element (4 runs, 2 runs with head movement) Perturbation treadmill (3 runs with 9 perturbations)
