Group 1: Patients with spondylodiscitis are analyzed with regard to therapeutic measures (surgical versus conservative) and the relationship between magnetic resonance imaging examination after 14 day

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Clinically confirmed diagnosis of spondylodiscitis - Treatment at the Unfallkrankenhaus Berlin in the Clinic for Trauma Surgery and Orthopedics

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - neurological deficits - intraspinal abscess

MeasureTime frame
How often does a conversion from conservative to surgical treatment occur as part of the treatment of spondylodiscitis? Descriptive analysis of routine data recorded in the hospital information system and presentation of absolute values ??and percentages of conservatively / surgically treated patients.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Is a repeated magnetic resonance imaging examination 14 days after the start of intravenous antibiotic therapy beneficial to the decision on further therapy for spondylodiscitis? Descriptive analysis of routine data recorded in the hospital information system on MRIs, inflammation parameters and clinical courses as well as their associations.
