Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (a) positive online evaluation of suitability for study participation (b) at least 2 months of employment in the geriatric care facility (c) ages between 18 and 65 years (d) sufficient knowledge of German language (e) private internet access (f) valid email address (g) signing the informed consent form

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (a) Clinically relevant depression scores, the presence of a complex psychopathological disorder, or polymorbid individuals (b) Participation in a stress management intervention in the past 6 months (c) Change in dose of psychotropic medication (e.g. sleep medication) in the last 3 months

1. Cortisol to quantify chronic stresslevel sampling hair-cortisol just before the programm starts (measurement 1) and after the programm (measurement 2). 2. cardiovescular reaction to a standarized stressor acute stressinducion using the KLT (Du¨ker & Lienert, 2001). Measurement of heart rate (Einthoven derivative II) during a 5-minute intervall of relaxation before the KLT (measurement 1) and during the KLT (measurement 2) All the following questionnaires will be completed upon three measurement points of time: 1. Measurement: Baseline, 2. Measurement: Post (after the program is finished) and 3. Follow-up measure. 3.1. Sociodemographic data: age, gender, family status, children, employment. 3.2. Mental health: medication/ possible change in medication over the last three months, anxiety (State-Trait-Anxiety Inventory), depression (Beck Depression Inventory), burnout (BATS), sleep disturbances (Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index). 3.3. Physical health: short form health questionnaire, height and weight (for BMI calculation). 3.4. Healthy behavior: smoking (daily average cigarette consumption), alcohol (average weekly alcoholic beverages), physical exercise (recent physical activity Questionnaire), eating behavior (eating disorder inventory) 3.5. Personal resources: worrying (Penn State Worry Questionnaire), self-efficacy (German generalized self-efficacy scale) and coping behavior (Stressverarbeitungs-Fragebogen) 3.6 subjective stress: stress-risk factors (Arbeitsbezogene Verhaltens- und Erlebnismuster), chronic stress (Trierer Inventar zum chronischen Stress) 3.7Strains in geriatric care workers: Strains in Dementia Care Scale; Professional Care Team Burden 3.8 Expectations towards iSMT: expectation toward therapy (The Patient Questionnaire on Therapy Expectation and Evaluation), intrinsic training motivation (The Treatment Self-Regulation Questionnaire) and attitudes towards psychological help (Attitudes Toward Seeking Professional Psychological Help Scale-SF
