Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Standard CT examination prior TAVR in our institute according to the valid SOP. CT examination on a dual energy computed tomograph available in the institute (Hawk and IQon, Philips Healthcare, Best, Netherlands). Justifying clinical indication.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Deviation from the applicable SOP. Examinations that are not carried out on the dual energy computer tomograph. Inadequate administration of contrast medium (incorrect amount of contrast medium, extravasation, incorrect infusion rate, incorrect contrast medium protocol).

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Reduction of the contrast medium amout with diagnostically sufficient image quality based on quantitative (HU values, signal-to-noise ratio, contrast-to-noise ratio, vessel diameter, vessel area) and qualitative (image quality and contrast enhancement based on a 5-point Likert-Scale) parameters.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Influence of low-kV reconstructions on the evaluability based on the parameters mentioned. Influence of the contrast medium application protocol. Semi-automated software-supported evaluation.
