Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Age: 20-50 years - Willingness to take part on the whole study procedure - Willingness to take the capsules over 12 weeks - Omnivorous diet

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Severe chronic diseases - Treatment with lipid-lowering or other drugs that influence lipid metabolism (e.g. statins, fibrates, bile acid exchange resins, phytosterols etc.) - consumption of n3 fatty acid supplements - regularly consumption of fatty fish > 250 g (1 portion)/week - diagnosed blood coagulation disorders as well as taking anticoagulant drugs e.g. Marcumar - Known allergy or intolerance to components of the test products - Abuse of alcohol and drugs - Participation in another clinical study within the last 30 days - Pregnancy - Planned operation in the next 3 months - non-consenting persons

- TG, LDL, HDL, Total cholesterol - Blood count - Blood pressure - Safety parameters (creatinine, GOT, GPT) - Dietary habits: Food frequency questionnaire at screening, 3-day food record - Anthropometric measures: weight, height, BMI, waist circumference - Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (BIA) for Body composition - Sociodemographic parameters: Age, sex, school qualification, profession, marital status - Other parameters: smoking, medication and supplement intake
