Group 1: Intervention group:
Intensified breastfeeding support by certified breastfeeding and lactation consultants (IBCLC) at 11 consultation appointments from day 2 postpartum to 5 months postpartum

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: BMI = 30 kg/m², HbA1c 2-3 weeks prenatally
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: pre-existing type 1 diabetes mellitus, multiple pregnancy, preterm birth (delivery before 37+0 weeks of gestation), pre-existing medical problems that might hinder breastfeeding (e.g. mamma carcinoma, breast surgery)
