Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: • Obese patients with an indication for bariatric intervention according to S3 guideline • Age between 18 and 70 years old • Informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: • patients with active periodontal disease • patients planning or underwent a conversion surgery • pregnant women • patients who underwent selective wear and dental bleaching within two years • patients with less than one tooth per sextant • patients with removable orthodontic appliances
