Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with verified osteomyelitis, periprosthetic infection, or fracture-associated infection requiring surgical treatment.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Psychological disorders according to ICD-10 Chapter F.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The primary efficacy endpoint is the mental component summary and physical component summary of quality of life assessed by the 36-Item Short Form Health Survey (SF-36), EQ-5D and ISR scores after 12 months.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Secondary outcomes include the mental component summary and physical component summary scores of the SF-36, EQ-5D and ISR scores at 6 months and 24 months.
