Group 1: - physical examination - ultrasound including fibroscan and CAP-measurement - questionnaires each before and 1 and 5 years after initiation of gender affirming hormone treatment

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - confirmed diagnosis of gender dysphoria - referral of a trained mental health professional, attesting indication for gender affirming hormone therapy

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - medical history of a relevant liver disease
