Group 1: Prospective observation of outcome of all patients with resection of a cervical or thoracical IMSCT with the aid of multimodal IONM incl. D-Wave after consent for study participation.

Inclusion criteria: All patients with resection of a cervical or thoracical IMSCT with the aid of multimodal IONM incl. D-Wave after consent for study participation

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: missing pre- and/or postop. status or resection without IONM

Evaluation of the predictive value of D-wave, hand-muscle TcMEPs and SSEPs for the distal limbs’ fine motor outcome after cervical imSCT surgery during resection of cervical and thoracical in comparison to lumbar intramedullary spinal cord tumors .

Secondary

1.) Assessment of the pre- and postop. neurological status and identification of postop. new deficits with Special Focus on the upper extremities' fine-motor Outcome incl. finctional scores (Nine-hole Peg Test [NHPT], Modified Orthopaedic Association Score [mJOA], etc.) 2.) Assessment of Imaging and operative characteristics of the study population 3.) Evaluation of feasibility of standard-IONM and analysis of intraoperative IONM-findings (with special focus on D-Wave) 4.) Correlation between IONM-findings (with special focus on D-Wave) and surgical-anestehsiological findings and procedural steps 5.) Correlation between IONM-findings (with special focus on D-Wave) abd postoperative neurological outcome (with special focus on upper extremities' fine-motor outcome) to clarify the predictive potential of IONM, esp. D-Wave 6.) Evaluation of IONM-warning criteria with regard to predictive potential and statistical Evaluation to establish new warning criteria 7.) Additional assessment of Quality-of-life and fine-motor-Outcome of the upper extremities fincl. functional scores (Nine-hole Peg Test [NHPT], Modified Orthopaedic Association Score [mJOA], etc.) via telephone interviews/questionaires and clinical examination for Long-term Outcome Analysis in case of patient's consent
