Group 1: Patients with elective lower endoscopy (colonoscopy etc.) are compared from baseline fecal calprotectin concentration to their postinterventional values from d3 and d14.

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Elective lower endoscopy
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: pregnancy, regular NSAID intake (> 2 DDD) the last 7 days before endoscopy and during study sampling, not available for stool samples afterwards, known nor suspected chronic inflammatory bowel disease, active colorectal cancer, suspected or definitive infectious diarrhea, gastrointestinal surgery within 6 months prior to endoscopy
