S/P Caesarean section

Interventions

Group 1: Women with S/P Caesarean section are questioned on possible symptoms 3 and 6 months post intervention and medically examined by means of transvaginal ultrasound 6 months post intervention.

Inclusion criteria: S/P Caesarean section

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Placental disorders. Triplet pregnancies. Language barrier.

Design outcomes

Primary

Measure	Time frame
Incidence of isthmoceles and associated complaints. Testing of the primary endpoint using questionnaires and transvaginal ultrasound.	—

Secondary

Measure	Time frame
Determination of risk factors for the development of isthmoceles. Evaluation of surgical reports and patient data in synopsis with findings from the transvaginal ultrasound.	—
