| The implementation of the WHP program is evaluated in a mixed-methods approach. Quantitative (longitudinal) and qualitative methods (guided interviews) will be conducted. In addition, a systematic review will be conducted to identify relevant health problems and promising interventions. For evaluation on an individual level, quantitative anonymous surveys will be conducted with professional caregivers at the beginning (T0) and end (T1) of the study to summatively assess the present situation. Main outcomes: Assessment of workloads (BGWmiab BGW - Dr. Nickel & Kersten, 2014). Experiences with patient and family aggression, Consequences of aggression in the workplace (SOVES-G-R Dr. Hahn, 2011), Social capital (Pfaff, Ansmann & Kowalski, 2013), Subjective health status (GEDA 2014/2015-EHIS, RKI), Subjective work ability (Tuomi et al., 1998), Impairment of work due to pain (GEDA 2014/2015-EHIS, RKI), Presenteeism (Aronsson et al., 2000), Mental exhaustion (Mohr & Rigotti, 2014) and Job satisfaction (Pfaff, Nitzsche & Jung, 2008). | — |

| For evaluation at the organizational / environmental-oriented level, a company survey about existing structures for WHP, OHM and structures for violence prevention is planned. The target group of this survey is the CEO. In a pre-post-design, interviews about the structures in the facility at T0 and T1 will be conducted with the use of a questionnaire. The main outcomes are: health promotion willingness, health promotion management, social capital, measures of WHP & structures for WHP (Pfaff, Nitzsche & Jung, 2008). Handling of incidents of violence and aggression in the facility ("Self-assessment of violence and aggression" BGW, 2020). Structures of occupational reintegration management (ORM) (ORM checklist for companies - practical guide for small and medium-sized enterprises Deutsche Rentenversicherung Baden-Württemberg, 2014). To answer the research questions, qualitative interviews are also used for evaluation. Depending on the point in time of the survey, the following aspects will be collected: - Before the implementation of the WHP program: Identification of relevant health problems and promising interventions. - during the implementation of the WHP program: Transferability to the target setting. - after the implementation of the WHP program: assessment of changes achieved and identification of facilitating factors and barriers for sustainable implementation under routine conditions. | — |
