The study participants are geriatric patients who may have a wide range of diseases.

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: - Patients of all gender - Speaks and understands German fluently - Ability to give consent must be given and a written declaration of consent must be available - Mobility and motility test must be able to be completed
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: - Patients with an aversion/fear or prejudice against dogs or animal-assisted therapy - Patients in isolation - Patients with an allergy to dog hair - Patients with mild, moderate and severe dementia (cut-off MMST* =25) - Patients who are not mobile enough to complete the movement therapy sessions (e.g. are in a wheelchair, bedridden or on oxygen)
